Avoiding Street Clutter

Installing signposts to waymark cycle routes can often lead to excesive clutter of the streetscape. One way to minimise this is by making more efficient use of existing street furniture. Sustrans have designed direction signs that can be attached to any convenient sign post, as in this example on National Cycle Network Route 21 near to Gatwick Airport.
