Countering Cycle Theft

These innovative lane markings were designed in response to a spate of cycle thefts from Tesco in Illminster. The shared-use pavement is designed to facilitate shoppers who arrive by bike and have to walk home, while preventing thieves approaching the store on foot and making a quick get-away on a stolen bike.
