The National Cycle Network crosses the Greenwich Meridian
Stuart B

This link in the National Cycle Network takes Route 63 across the Greenwich Meridian, thus providing a vital connection between the Western and Eastern hemispheres. In view of the strategic nature of the route, Sustrans and Cambridgeshire County Council were able to secure funding from the European Union for the project. Cyclists, who previously faced the prospect of a quiet country lane, can now cross the meridian using a 10m long mandatory cycle lane.
