Free movement of labour with in the EU means that English cycle facility designers can find employment throughout the continent. Taking this example from Cambridge as their inspiration, they though it would be a good idea to install a narrow cycle lane adjacent to some parking bays on Wittevrouwenstraat at the junction with the Ridderschapstraat in Utrecht. Fortunately, experienced Dutch cyclists are sensible enough not to ride in the door zone.
