No Entry to the Contraflow Lane

The London Borough of Islington have taken care to ensure the safety of cyclists when designing this contraflow cycle track on Rosoman Street in Finsbury. The highly visible 'NO ENTRY' signs at the beginning of the path prevents motor vehicles from using this tempting short-cut. Traffic engineers were careful to not waste money adding unnecessary 'NO ENTRY' signage on the exit of the adjacent one-way street.
