It can be quite tricky to ride with the precision needed stay within cycle lanes when they are extremely narrow. This one on Pighue Lane in Liverpool is the only the width of a drain cover (about a quarter of the recommended width), but the engineers of Liverpool City Council have provided a 45° camber to ensure that any less skilled cyclists who wobble slightly to the right will slide back down into the gutter.
