A common cause of cycle crashes is for a driver to open their door into the path of a cyclist riding too close to a parked car. Warrington's safety conscious traffic engineers realised that oncoming dog-walkers might force cyclists into the door-zone of this car parked a quiet cul-de-sac in Sankey Bridges.
