Going Green

The Royal Borough of Kingston-upon-Thames demonstrates their green credentials by minimising the impact of this cycle path on the environment. Special dispensation has been obtained from the Department for Transport to keep the path below the normal absolute minimum width specified for such infrastructure. The path closely follows the contours of the grassy bank and it is painted a matching shade of green to reduce the visual impact.
