Celebrating 21st Century Engineers

The engineers of today tend to be overlooked compared to their Victorian predecessors. So, Halton Borough Council are to be applauded for erecting this tribute to David Boyer MEng, MBA, CENG, MICE, MCIWEM. What better monument for a highways engineer than a large yellow road sign bearing his name. To ensure passing cyclists have the opportunity to stop and admire his work, a specially designed fence has been placed across the newly constructed cycle path.
