The A143 Bury St Edmunds to Diss road is a fast and often busy route which is never pleasant to cycle along, so Suffolk County Council are to be congratulated on at least providing cyclists with a little bit of respite from the traffic. Only the most churlish and ungrateful cyclist would complain about the less than perfect condition of the tarmac and the fact that it's littered with debris and briars.
