A Warrington Cyclist

Did you know that :-

Warrington Borough Council have calculated that over 8 million cycle trips are made each year in Warrington. That is an average of 22,000 each and every day.

Warrington has an active cycle campaign organisation that promotes cycling throughout the area and has been instrumental in Warington Borough Council developing its progressive and well thought out Cycling Strategy as part of its Local Transport Plan.

Regular cyclists enjoy a fitness level equal to that of a person ten years younger. (Source: National Forum for Coronary Heart Disease Foundation, Sharp)
